Episode 227
Behind the Scenes at QuitMormon with Founder Mark Naugle
On this episode of Mormonish Podcast, Rebecca and Landon are joined by the founder of QuitMormon, Mark Naugle, for an extremely informative discussion on one of the most important tools in post Mormondom!
QuitMormon is a website that helps facilitate removing your records from the LDS church and effectively ending your membership. The fact that this kind of procedure, including the use of notary, is required to leave a religious organization is problematic in itself. Mark takes us through his background of leaving the church as a teenager and then making it his mission to help others do the same for almost a decade.
Mark shares his vision for QuitMormon that involves even more help and support to the post Mormon community. He also discusses their new fundraising efforts and hopes for the future.
If you've even wondered who was behind QuitMormon and where it came from, you won't want to miss this episode.
Thank you to my friend Cara for suggesting this great idea for a podcast!
